LLMs are stuck in a groupthink groove. This startup is trying to get them out.

MIT Technology Review

Let's start with a game. Open up your chatbot of choice--Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini--and type "Give me a random number between 1 and 10." You're going to get 7. Almost always. Now type "Another" and you'll get 3 or 4. Type "Another" again and you'll get 8 or 9. That won't work every time--but if it did for you, you may wonder if I have superpowers.

New ChatGPT tool uses AI to help doctors streamline documentation and focus on patients

FOX News

Dr. Anthony Mazzarelli, the CEO of Cooper University Health Care in New Jersey and an ER physician as well, spoke with Fox News Digital about how Nuance's AI tool is helping physicians focus more on patients and less on paperwork. Doctors in the U.S. spend an average of 1.84 hours per day completing electronic notes outside their regular work hours, recent studies have shown -- and 57% of them said documentation takes away from the time they can spend with patients. Aiming to change that, Nuance -- a Microsoft-owned artificial intelligence company in Massachusetts -- has created an AI tool for physicians called DAX, which streamlines the note-taking process. At Cooper University Health Care in New Jersey, doctors who are already using the tool have reported improved patient outcomes, greater efficiency and reduced costs. AI TOOL GIVES DOCTORS PERSONALIZED ALZHEIMER'S TREATMENT PLANS FOR DEMENTIA PATIENTS "For our physicians who use DAX more than half the time, they have seen a 43% reduction of the time they spend writing notes and an overall 21% reduction in the amount of time they spend in the electronic medical record," said Dr. Anthony Mazzarelli, the CEO of Cooper, which employs 150 physicians.

Conversion Intelligence--The New Era of Marketing

#artificialintelligence

In a world where it seems like the next big thing is just'round the corner every day, there's comfort in holding on to the old way of doing things. It's part of the human condition, and history is littered with examples of people who weren't able to recognize--or capitalize on--trends and events as they happened. Lightbulbs, bicycles, and laptops are but a few of these once-misunderstood tech inventions. Just a few years ago it was even considered ludicrous for the internet to be used for ecommerce. This is also where we believe digital marketing finds itself today--on the cusp of something new that's about to overhaul traditional processes, manual data-crunching, and tedious testing by partnering up with artificial intelligence and machine learning.

This Is How AI Will Change Your Work In 2017

#artificialintelligence

Artificial intelligence is growing fast. Recent research puts it as a $5 billion market by 2020, and Gartner estimates that 6 billion connected "things" will require AI support by 2018. Two reports just surfaced that tackle the troubling predictions that automation, artificial intelligence, and robots are going to supplant human workers. The McKinsey Global Institute and Glassdoor research indicates that we don't have to worry that we humans will become obsolete.

Day 3 Keynote at @ThingsExpo Dion Hinchcliffe, Chief Strategy Officer at 7Summits

#artificialintelligence

A strange thing is happening along the way to the Internet of Things, namely far too many devices to work with and manage. It has become clear that we'll need much higher efficiency user experiences that can allow us to more easily and scalably work with the thousands of devices that will soon be in each of our lives. Enter the conversational interface revolution, combining bots we can literally talk with, gesture to, and even direct with our thoughts, with embedded artificial intelligence, which can process our conversational commands and orchestrate the outcomes we request across our personal and professional realm of connected devices. Dion Hinchcliffe, Chief Strategy Officer at 7Summits, discussed how far from being part of the near future, "conversational things" is arriving now and explored with real-world examples.
